M. Sc. Oceanography

M. Tech. Ocean Technology

Eligibility : (i) M.Sc. degree in Oceanography/ Physics / Marine Geology / Meteorology / Marine Geophysics / Environmental Sciences or M.Sc. (Tech) Degree in Marine Geophysics OR B.Tech or equivalent degree/AMIE in Civil Engineering/ Environmental Sciences with 60% marks from any recognized University or Institution.
(ii) A valid GATE score with any of the subjects mentioned above as the second paper

Admission : Through GATE score and DAT (Department Admission Test). Candidates with valid GATE score are given first preference and are exempted from DAT. Notification in Jan-Feb. Visit IRAA,CUSAT

Ph. D.

Eligibility : Master's Degree from a recognized University with 55% marks in the qualifying examination, or a CGPA of 6.0 in the 10 point scale or an equivalent grade in similar scales. A candidate belonging to SC/ST community is eligible for concession upto 10% marks for admission provided that he/she has a pass in the qualifying examination.
Duration : Minimum 3 years.
Nature of Programme : Part-time or Full time
Professional/Non-professional : -
Intake (Seat) : As per availabe vacancy
Admission : Through DAT (Department Admission Test). Those who have fellowships (CSIR, UGC and others) are exempted from the test.
